Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
they didnt sell him after 6 months, did they? he was also bought by a different manager and the enw manager had a completely different way of playing, not to mention the playing hugely overvalued by a differing sporting director when bought. anything else i need to shoot down you let me know you bellpiece.

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
Why would they sell someone they bought for £35m for £15m?

Life of Br-Iron 2:53 Mon Dec 15
Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
he has only been there since the summer, they aren't going to value him at 5m after a few months when their whole team has been rather pants. doesnt sound merely mental, but you sound like a fucking idiot for even dreaming it up you cunt.

Why would Liverpool swap a player worth £15-20 mil for one worth at most £8-10

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
Sounds mental on many fronts, but if Liverpool come in for him would you do a straight swap for Lovren?

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
All the people saying he is not a CL standard defender forget one thing. When he came to West Ham he wasn't a PL standard defender but look how quickly he improved.

Winston has got everything you need to be a world class defender. He isn 't the finished article by no means and, for me, will get better and better and will qucikly adapt to any level he plays at. No doubt.

Jack Flash, or Chelsea.

I want him to resign, but the minute a player stops wearing the famous crossed hammers on their shirt, they're no longer relevant.

Thanks for the goals at Millwall and Spurs, Winston, they won't be forgotten.

He'll end up at Hull if he's not careful.

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
What you don't understand that no one is going to offer us 20m for Reid in the last six months of his contract but if we remain in our position, it could be worth plus 20m to keep him?

Alex V 4:14 Sat Dec 13
Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
>>> Alex - that's 20m to our club in our position, not selling value.

Must admit I don't know what that means.

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
no one will pay 20m fo Reid but I'd sell now for 10m. we can get a decent replacement for that.

Of course I'd like him to sign for 60k

Pagey

Sir Bob may have had a view on that at the end of the 66 season

Outrageous treatment

Comparing footballers to slavery!

I don't think slaves were on £50,000 a week.

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
Fully agree Ted

Reids come in & done a terrific job & improved his game with us

Come the summer he'll have fulfilled his contract (which works both ways) & has every right to look at what ever are his best options, like any other employee

Slavery was supposed to have been abolished over 400 years ago

I hope he stays, but if he doesn't, good luck to him where ever he goes (unless he goes to Spurs of course ~ which would automatically make him a cunt)

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
Footballers are employee's and many on here get the arse with their company employer etc.,and move on for their own gain.
IMO footballers have the same right if they feel that they want to enhance their career/bank balance then why not ?
Their career is not a long one and you obviously look out for yourself.
Sometimes a player will show loyalty to the club that signed them but at the end of the day the club wants that player to enhance the club !!!

Funny old game.

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
Reid won't be phased by any cunting off by West Ham fans as he had a wonderful baptism in his first season here which West Ham fans conveniently forget. 'Course now they think he should stay loyal to a club who's fans had him down as a shit signing and wouldn't have noticed him leaving that summer.

I hope we are currently scouting South America for a decent young CB... some hard fucker from Uruguay or Argentina would do and they always have the best... as long as he's not Brazilian.

Can't be that difficult can it.... find out who's the best CB under 26, ask them if they want to play for the most exciting team in the best league in the world in the best city in the world.... expect they would pay us to move to be fair.

Re: Reid asking price £20 mil
Speaking of cunting off I saw Upson may return for Leicester today so may well play at Upton Park next week.
That should be interesting
